Who is responsible for your information?

Career Options operates this website and is responsible for the personal information you submit through it. For privacy questions, contact hello@careeroptions.ie.

What information do we collect?

If you use the enquiry form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, whether the enquiry is for a school leaver, parent or mature student, the service you are interested in, and any message you choose to write.

This website does not ask for sensitive personal information. Please do not include medical details, financial information, passwords or other confidential information in the form. If those details become relevant, they can be discussed safely during a consultation.

Why do we use it?

We use enquiry information to:

• respond to your enquiry;
• arrange or prepare for a consultation you request;
• follow up about the service you asked about; and
• keep a reasonable record of communications and appointments.

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated advertising. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list unless you separately ask to receive marketing emails.

Who receives it?

Form submissions are processed by Formspree, the form-processing service used by this website. Website files are hosted and delivered through Netlify. These providers process information under their own privacy terms and may process data outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. We only use them to operate the website and handle enquiries.

We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights and safety of the people using the service.

How long do we keep it?

We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, provide the requested service, and maintain appropriate business records. We then delete it or securely dispose of it. Formspree may retain submissions according to its own service terms and retention settings.

Your rights

Under data-protection law, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy of information you provided. Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Your browser, Netlify and Formspree may use essential technical data needed to deliver the website and process forms.

We may update this notice when the website, services or data practices change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
